In our eighth module for the Educational Technology course, we discussed many different "cool tools" that can be used in the classroom. These ranged from websites that facilitated collaboration, to websites that allowed students to use their creativity to actually create a presentation or product that they could show off to their teacher, parents, or fellow students. The cool tool that I focused on for the class was a tool called Pixton, which was a website that allowed students to create their own comic strips. This website would be valuable to me as a future teacher because it allows students to be creative without their artistic abilities hindering their potential for achievement. It is a great website to use with students who are learning how to tell a story in a logical order, or recap the important scenes from a story or article that they were reading in class. Below is the Power point presentation that I created for presenting Pixton to the class as my cool tool.
